How much does it cost to rent a car in Dubai?
As a typical range, economy cars start from roughly AED 50–80 a day, SUVs from around AED 180, and luxury and sports cars from a few hundred to a few thousand dirhams a day. Weekly and monthly rentals cost less per day. Add the deposit, Salik tolls and any extras before you compare.
What documents do I need to rent a car in Dubai as a tourist?
A passport with a valid entry stamp or visa, your home-country driving licence (or an International Driving Permit for some nationalities) and a credit card in the main driver's name. The minimum age is usually 21.
Can I rent a car in Dubai without a deposit?
Yes — some companies offer no-deposit rentals, mostly on economy and mid-range cars, usually for a higher daily rate or with extra conditions. A standard rental holds a refundable deposit, commonly on a credit card, and releases it once traffic fines and Salik charges have cleared.
Is car rental insurance mandatory in Dubai?
Basic insurance is included with most rentals, but cover levels and the excess vary. Check what's included and what an excess waiver costs before you sign.
Can I rent a car monthly in Dubai?
Yes. Monthly and long-term rentals cost much less per day than daily hire and are popular with residents and long-stay visitors alike.
How much does a desert safari cost in Dubai?
As a typical range, budget shared safaris start around AED 90–190 per person and a standard shared evening safari is about AED 160–260 per person. Private and VIP safaris are priced per vehicle and cost considerably more.
How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Dubai?
Smaller yachts start from around AED 500 an hour; luxury yachts from around AED 1,200, and superyachts from AED 5,000+. Prices vary by size, season and route.
How much is an airport transfer in Dubai?
Private transfers typically start from around AED 80–150 depending on vehicle and distance, with a fixed price agreed before you travel rather than a meter.
